Ambria tried Emily. Skype said she wasn’t online. She immediately tried again with the same result. She called her mom on the phone at 3pm. Her mom answered. Ambria told her she had tried to call her on Skype and it said she was offline. Her mom said that was weird because “I’m sittin’ right here lookin’ at it.” She said she wanted to try Ambria back on Skype and disconnected the call. Emily called back on the phone at 3:08pm. They talked about what Ambria was doing to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Ambria described the things she is making and her process with her mom on the phone. Her mom asked if she had gotten the cooking stuff. Ambria said she had. Emily asked if she can use them for this dinner. Ambria said she might be able to make the rolls in the cake pan. Emily asked if she has documented any of it. She told about the picture of her making her pie crust. Emily asked if she’s getting up early to finish tomorrow. Ambria said she’ll get up around 8am. Emily clarified she’s not doing anything with the turkey. Ambria said she has to heat it. Emily said she’s glad “everything is goin’ good.” She asked if Ambria’s wearing her apron. Ambria said she is. Emily asked if she had a regular day at school or got out at 2:30. Ambria said she got out at 2:30. Ambria told her mom she got her report card today. Her mom asked what she got. Ambria said she has a 3.9. Emily said that was great and asked if she was under pressure to keep it that high. Ambria said she’ll just do her best. Emily asked more questions about the turkey and the pie. She asked her mom what she’s doing for Thanksgiving. Her mom told her about the food she’s going to make.
