Ambria called Emily. There was a long pause after she answered. Emily asked what she is doing. Ambria said she cleaned some dishes. Ambria asked how that went. Ambria said it went well. Emily noticed Ambria is wrapped in a blanket. She asked if it’s chilly. Ambria said kinda. Emily said it’s about 50. Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s about the same. She said she’s still having trouble swallowing water. Still nothing from the bad arm. Emily asked what she’s having for breakfast. Ambria said she isn’t sure. Emily said she isn’t either. Ambria told her she got the email but hadn’t had time to respond. Ambria told her the sizes she wears: 10 in shirts, 10/12 in pants, depending on where they’re from. Emily asked if she could wear anything above that or below that. Ambria said nothing below that. Emily asked if she was the same size last year. Ambria told her she is. Emily asked how tall she is. Ambria said she’s about 5’ tall, maybe a half inch shorter. Emily asked if she has weekend plans. Ambria said she’ll probably work on her Thanksgiving menu. Emily asked if she’s making a pie. Ambria said she’s making an apple pie. Emily asked if she’s making the crust. Ambria said she is. Emily said it sounds like a big job but she will be OK. Ambria told her we’re buying the turkey and then making mashed potatoes, corn pudding, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, cranberry sauce, apple pie, and something else she can’t remember. Emily said that all sounds good. She said to send her a plate. She said she didn’t think it would make it, and, if it did, the cat would get it first. Ambria suggested she could send a picture. Emily said that would work. Emily said the cat loves something (carbs?). Emily told the cat corn isn’t good for it, but the cat doesn’t care. Ambria told her to show Reda the picture of the food too. Emily said she’ll do that and to take pictures of her making the pie. Ambria said she’s making all the other stuff too. Emily said she was impressed. Ambria said she made a spreadsheet too. Emily said something about her apron. Ambria said she’ll have Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. She’s going to make the pie crust on Tuesday. Emily said she’s excited for her. Ambria said it would be fun. Ambria said she’ll have it done by noon on Thursday. Emily guessed she’s going to eat at 1. Ambria said she’ll probably eat right at noon. Emily asked when she’ll wake up on Thursday. Ambria said it depends how much she has to do. Emily asked how she’s going to season it all. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Emily asked if she has recipes to go by. Ambria said yes. Emily asked what she most looks forward to. Ambria said corn pudding. Emily said she liked it and asked if she’s going to use canned cream corn. Emily asked if she could write it down if she has time. Ambria said she’ll try. Ambria said she wanted to go. She ended the call at 9:10 AM.
