Ambria called Emily. Emily asked about math night. Ambria told her she got an Italian soda and played set with friends. Emily asked what set is. Ambria described the rules. Emily asked who she played it with. Ambria listed some of the friends she played with. Emily asked whether some other friends showed up. Ambria said she saw Lauren but she was volunteering. Emily said she wanted to take the dog to the vet on Saturday. Tiffany handed Ambria some sliced apples. Emily commented on them. Emily asked about the weather. Ambria said it’s cool and a little rainy. Emily said it’s like that in Tennessee too. Emily asked where Ambria got the sweater. Ambria told her. Emily asked if she’s wearing jeans or leggings. Ambria told her leggings. Emily asked if that’s what she wears all winter. Ambria said it isn’t. She said she usually wears sweatshirts. Emily asked about some kind of clothes you would wear under your clothes to keep warm (underwear?). She came up with a brand name. Ambria said Reda had gotten her some. Emily asked about her shoes and Ambria gave her an inventory of the shoes she has. Emily asked if she wears skinny jeans. Ambria said she does. Emily joked about quizzing her about her clothes. Ambria told her she has a lot of homework. Emily asked why, and Ambria said she didn’t know. She said she thinks it’s because she hasn’t finished things in class. Emily asked if she has a lot of math. Ambria said 6 problems. Emily asked if she works on math before or after eating. Emily asked if she works on it before or after dinner. Ambria said she works before. She said last year it took the whole evening. Emily asked if she goes to bed at 9. Ambria said she does. Emily asked about Chester. Ambria said he’s been quiet. She said they changed seats in Science. Emily asked why. Ambria said they hadn’t changed in a while. Emily asked what she’s been doing there. Ambria told her about the alien periodic table. Emily asked if she eats the apples with peanut butter or plain. Ambria said she usually eats them with peanut butter. Emily said her hair is getting long and asked if she likes it that way. Ambria said yes and that it’s longer than it was when she got it cut. She tried to figure out when she had gotten it cut. She thought it was over a year ago.
