Ambria called Emily. Emily asked about breakfast. Ambria told her what she had. Emily asked about her skating with her friend yesterday. Ambria told her they couldn’t go because the ground was wet and went to the beach instead. Emily said that was good. Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s about the same. Ambria said, “Don’t be so specific.” Emily didn’t understand the sarcasm. Ambria asked about her pets. Emily told her about them. Ambria asked about the weather. Emily said it rained a little this morning. She said it rained heavy Thursday. She said yesterday was nice and it should be nice today. Emily asked what kind of bike Ambria has. Ambria told her it’s a Specialized. Emily asked if she gets to bike a lot. Ambria said not a lot this summer. Emily guessed she had been skateboarding instead. Emily asked when roller derby starts back. Ambria said she isn’t sure. Emily asked if she’s on the same team. Ambria said she thinks so. Emily asked if she has to try out to be on a specific team. Ambria said no. Emily asked what she has planned for this week. Ambria told her my parents are coming on Tuesday. Emily asked if we have planned anything special. Ambria said we have not. Ambria told her she’s been looking to see if her school supply needs have been posted yet. Emily asked about some of Ambria’s classes next year. Ambria said she’ll be getting high school credit for some courses. Ambria said she used all the yarn for her pom poms. She told her mom she needs about 3 more of each. Her mom asked how many each makes. Ambria said about 13. Emily said this rug was going to be bigger than she thought. Ambria said she has to smush them together. Emily asked about the weather. Ambria said yesterday it was about 70 at the beach. She said she doesn’t know today but thinks it’s sunny outside. She told her mom she played Minecraft yesterday and told her about the house she’s building in the game. Emily asked how long it takes her to do all that. She told her mom she only played for an hour and 20 minutes to do all that. Emily said she’s glad she has something to do that relaxes her. She said she’s glad Ambria has so many hobbies.
