Ambria called Emily. Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria said, “Not much.” She told her about working on her rug she’s making with the yarn Emily gave her. Emily asked if she had gotten both things of yarn. Ambria said she had. Emily asked if there’s anything she can show. Ambria said she just has pom poms now since she doesn’t have the mat yet. Emily asked how skateboarding is. Ambria asked if she told her mom she had gotten a skateboard. Emily said she had told her. Ambria said she skated to the library and to the library, the hardware store, and the beach. Emily asked if she skated quickly or slow. Ambria said she’s slow, but it’s faster than walking. Emily asked if she fell. Ambria said a couple of times but not on her knees. Emily asked if she fell into the street. Ambria said no. Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s awake a bit more but she sleeps a lot. Ambria said she tries to do that anyway. Ambria asked how old Braden is. Emily guessed he is a year or two younger. Ambria said she doesn’t know. She always thinks of him as a lot younger. Emily said he’s no more than two years younger. Ambria said she thinks he’s 10 or 9. Emily asked what month his birthday is in. Ambria said she thinks it’s May. Emily did some calculation and said he might be more like 3 years younger. Emily said that was a really early birthday present (returning to the subject of the skateboard). Emily said she bet Ambria was really surprised. Ambria said yeah, and she kinda guessed what it was. Ambria asked about Emily’s pets. Emily talked about the dog’s upcoming checkup and grooming her. Ambria asked how Ambria’s cats are. Emily said they’re good. She said Brenda is checking on them and feeding them. Ambria said Reda kept their bowls full which made them fat. Ambria told her to only feed them twice per day. She thinks the last time she saw them, they weren’t as fat. Brenda told Emily they come to her when she comes to check on them. Emily asked Ambria if she thinks they sleep together or separate. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Ambria told Emily she’s going to the skate park with McKenzie Friday. Emily asked if she’s going to take her skates or skateboard. Ambria said she may take both and switch out. Emily asked if McKenzie skateboards. Ambria said no, but she has a scooter. She asked if McKenzie is a friend from school. Emily asked what grade Ambria is in. Ambria said 8th. She asked how old Ambria is going to be and guessed 10. Ambria said 14. Emily asked what kind of needles Ambria is using for the pom poms. Ambria said she doesn’t use them and described the process. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily told her to have fun at the skate park. They ended the call at 3:08 PM.
