Ambria called Emily. Skype said she is not online. She tried again at 8:59 AM, and Skype rang. Her mom asked what she’s doing, and Ambria said she just took a shower. Emily said she needs to fix her phone volume so she can hear. She asked Ambria to say something, and she could hear her. Emily asked again what she’s doing. Ambria told her again. Emily asked how her last day of school was. Ambria said it was good. Emily asked to see Ambria’s yearbook. Ambria said she doesn’t have it with her and she would go get it. Emily told her to tell about it while she was going. She went to her room and got it. She told her mom she made some brownies to share with her friends and watched movies. Emily asked what movies. Ambria said Coco and Back to the Future. Emily asked if she saw all her friends. Ambria said she did. She started showing Emily some of the pictures of her in the yearbook. The wind started making sound in Emily’s phone. She is apparently not at home right now. Ambria showed another picture of her getting a piggyback ride from MacKenzie. She showed her mom her yearbook photo for her class. Her mom said it was a very good picture of her. Emily asked about derby prom. Ambria told her about the photo booth and getting our pictures taken. Ambria told her about the raffle and that she didn’t win anything. Emily asked if she wore the dress. Yes. Did she dance? Ambria said she didn’t because the dancing was later and she didn’t stay long. Emily asked if she had punch. Ambria said she didn’t and there weren’t many different drinks. She said there was a lot of different food. She told about the caricature artist and getting her caricature done. Emily asked what kind of dancing she would have done. Ambria said she doesn’t really dance. Emily asked what she’s doing this weekend. Ambria said today she’s going to Pike Place Market and Capital Hill. Ambria said she’s going to the Pride parade tomorrow. Emily said she wondered if Ambria’s going to the Pride parade. Emily asked if she knows her grades yet. Ambria said they’re going to send them but hasn’t gotten them yet. Emily asked if it’s a report card or if you see the grades online. Ambria said you can check them anytime online. Ambria said, “mmm…” struggling for something to say. Ambria said she played basketball in PE yesterday. Emily asked how many baskets she made. Ambria said not many. Emily asked if has a red hard on the side of her screen and asked what it means. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Emily said it sounds like she’s going to have a really fun weekend. Ambria agreed. Emily asked what’s planned for next week. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Emily said she could play it by ear. Emily asked if there’s a pool nearby she can go to. Ambria said there’s an outdoor pool, so it might not be warm enough yet. Emily asked if derby is done until fall. Ambria said it is. Emily clarified she is in division 1. Ambria said yes. Emily said she’s starting to get things down. Ambria said she wants to go. They ended the call at 9:10 AM.
