Ambria emailed Emily last night to ask if she could call an hour early so she could make her friend’s basketball game. Emily said that would be fine, so Ambria called Emily at 7:58 AM. They talked about Ambria’s sprain. Emily asked if Ambria was having to sit out for gym. Ambria said normally, yes, but she just had free-time on Friday. Ambria said she had a field trip on Friday. Emily asked what school she had gone to for the field trip and what she had done. Ambria said she had gone to a shadow puppet play at the University of Washington. Emily asked if Ambria had walked out. Ambria said she had not. Ambria told her mom she is going to Lauren’s basketball. Her mom asked if it’s at her school. Ambria said she didn’t think so. Ambria asked about Emily’s cat and dog. Emily said they were trying to get food. Ambria said she talked to Reda on Thursday. She told the story she had told Reda and the story Reda had told her. Ambria told Emily next week is spirit week. Emily asked if there’s a special event for each day. Ambria said there is an event for each day. Monday is pajama day. Ambria said she may not and described her pajamas. Ambria didn’t remember Tuesday. Ambria said Wednesday is “wear your cause” day. Thursday is meme day. Friday is formal day and the dance. Emily asked if she would dance. Ambria said probably not. Ambria said she knows what she’s wearing for meme day and formal day. She described her outfits. Ambria described planking to her mom. Ambria said she wanted to get off the phone to get ready to go. Emily asked if she’s going to dry her hair or let it dry. Ambria said she would probably let it dry. Emily said that’s what she usually does too. Emily thanked Ambria for sending the email. Ambria said, “Mmm hmm.” They ended the call at 8:08am.
