Ambria called Emily. She told her mom about her breakfast. Emily asked about her test. Ambria corrected her that they were scheduled for 3 tests but only had 1. Emily asked about Ambria’s roller derby bout. Ambria told her she was ready and started telling her about practice. She told her mom she is planning to stretch and work out today to be ready. Emily asked which game consoles she has and what games she plays. She then began probing into how long Ambria is able to play games and how long she plays them. Ambria asked about her pets and Emily started running down everything the dogs and cats had done and everything she had bought for them recently. Emily asked if Ambria had anything planned. Ambria said not yet. Emily asked Ambria what she should have for breakfast. Ambria said, “Let’s see…” trying to think of something else to say. She told her mom about the 5th graders who had toured Madison. Emily spent some time trying to catch her cat and narrating everything the cat was doing. Ambria started talking about Reda’s cats. Ambria ended the call at 9:10am.
