Ambria called Emily. Emily asked what Ambria was doing, and Ambria told her about homework. Then, Emily started talking about her pets. They talked about the snow for a few minutes before Emily changed the subject back to what her pets were doing. They then started thinking about what to talk about next. Emily started telling Ambria about a work meeting and the new work software they discussed at the meeting. The subject then drifted back to the difficulties of driving in the snow. Ambria told Emily about some books she has been reading. Ambria asked again if Reda has taken the cats to the vet. Emily said she had not but that Reda had promised to take them once the weather improves. Emily talked about how the time gets away from Reda even though she knows they need to go to the vet. Ambria showed Emily her doll and told her she had been playing with it. Ambria told a story about a man in a store who had mistaken the doll for a real baby. Emily asked Ambria about roller derby practice and her next bout. Emily asked if Ambria has any tests coming up. Ambria wasn’t sure. Emily asked if Ambria had chosen her electives for the second term. Ambria said she hasn’t but told Emily that she was considering a photography course. Emily relayed that Reda had taken a photography class. Then they joked about Reda’s lack of skill in photography. Ambria then ended the call at 6:10pm.
