Ambria called Emily. Emily spent some time getting her camera working. The call cut out at one point. I checked the speed:
Emily asked about her flight and if she was tired. Ambria said that she did and she was. Emily asked about Ambria’s plans for her weekend. Ambria said she thought we would do something today but wasn’t sure what. They talked about roller derby. Ambria told her she didn’t have practice this weekend. Emily asked about the result of her last bout (which occurred before Ambria’s trip to visit). They started talking about pets. Ambria changed the subject back to her flight and told about some babies that were on-board. Emily changed the subject back to what her pets were doing at the moment. They talked about the health of Reda’s pets and Ambria’s concern over having them seen at the vet. Emily said she would take them if Reda wants her to. She said she would ask her again. Emily asked if Ambria would have new classes. Ambria told her they don’t switch semesters yet. Emily asked which classes would change and which would stay the same. Emily asked if Ambria has breakfast yet. Ambria has not. (She got in bed late having arrived home in the evening, and we let her sleep later this morning.) They talked about gifts they had received and given. Ambria ended the call at 9:10 AM.
