11/11/17 9am PST - Ambria called Emily and call was answered first time. No technical glitches. Ambria told Emily about her big weekend plans. She is going to bake with a friend, then they will go to a sleepover party, then tomorrow she has her first derby bout. Ambria brought up her participation in spelling bees in 3rd and 4th grade, Emily didn’t know about them because she wasn’t around at all. Emily said that she advised Reda to contact Ambria’s Dad to try to schedule a call. Emily asked if Ambria eats any cheese at the parties she goes to. Ambria said that she tries to get food without cheese, and advised that her friends’ parents accommodate her dietary needs. But said if she can’t get something without cheese she picks it off. To which Emily said that is what she (as a vegetarian) does too. Emily said she hopes all the weekend plans go well and she can hear about them on the Wednesday call. Call ended so Ambria could eat her breakfast and finish watching a movie at 9:10 am PST at Ambria’s request.
