Replied to Emily’s email:

The camera was not shut off. The computer is a desktop computer and does not have a camera. Probably for the best since you barely had the bandwidth for just your video. I tested our speed, and it measured at 40Mbps, which is more than enough for Skype video. There must be a problem on your side. She was having a lot of trouble understanding you; the video and audio were both hitching badly. I was actually going to suggest you might want to leave off your own video to devote all your bandwidth to audio so that Ambria isn’t having to try to understand you through all the audio problems.

Your reasons for wanting a Skype call were not obvious. I thought you wanted to use Skype to conserve cell phone minutes.

Ambria said she was happy with the duration of the call. I’m glad we agree on acting in her best interests. I’m willing to compromise to allow the two weekly 10 minute calls you originally proposed, again, assuming you’re willing to be flexible around her schedule. Since we’re having trouble reaching an alternative agreement, probably best we fall back to the 2x10 agreement we reached at the hearing.
